Dakota Language Paraprofessional

Qualifications: AA Degree Required. Prior experience in education is preferred. Prefer someone interested in entering the teaching field. Must have Dakota Language and cultural background/knowledge. Demonstrated oral and written proficiency in Dakota and English.

Human Resource Assistant

Qualifications: High School Diploma/ GED required. AA degree in appropriate area preferred.

Resource Officer

Qualifications: High School Diploma and two (2) years of experience in Security or related field. The candidate will monitor individuals coming into school grounds based on COVID-19 CDC guidelines.

Assistant Cook

Qualifications: Must have a High School Diploma/GED. One (1) year of experience in instructional food preparation is considered or a related field is preferred.

Dorm Manager: Girls

Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences degree preferred. Must have supervisory experience and a Valid Driver’s License. Must be able to work any shift.

Dormitory Parent: Boys & Girls

Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED required. One (1) year of experience in the Social service field. Must be able to work any day or night shift, on any day or night.

Residential Activities Director

Qualifications Prefer GED/High School Diploma. One (1) year of general experience, some bookkeeping required. MUST BE BONDABLE. MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE PLUS A COMMERCIAL DRIVER LICENSE (CDL).

Bus Drivers

Must have a High School Diploma/GED. Must possess a valid South Dakota Driver’s License with a Commercial Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one.

Substitute Teachers

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED.

Construction Inspector:

Marty Indian School is advertising for a Construction Inspector to oversee a design-build Renovation Project. The position experience requires a minimum of Seven (7) years of employment with a public agency (Federal, State, Tribal, or local) where the primary duties of employment inspection of projects for the planning, design, and construction of buildings.

Educational Requirements:   

Applicant must have a minimum of 7 years of experience related to the field or a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts in Construction Technology.

Supporting documents certifying experience or education should be submitted along with a complete employment form to Marty Indian School. The Inspector Position will be required upon hire at a minimum to be certified in OSHA and Hazardous Material. Your employment form can be picked up at Marty Indian School, 100 S. Main, at the Administration Building.
